South Korea: Emergency release of 1,000 tons of sea salt from government reserves

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will supply 1,000 tons of government-stocked sea salt to traditional markets and large supermarkets starting from the end of this month ahead of the kimchi season. In particular, we plan to immediately release 1,000 tons of sea salt from government reserves so that consumers can purchase it at a discount of more than 50% from the current consumer price.
