From July 1 to March 19, EU countries imported nearly 4.6 million tons of vegetable oil, which is 1.5 million tons less than the previous season. Palm oil purchases decreased to 2.64 million tons, with Indonesia being the main supplier and Guatemala in third place. Sunflower oil imports decreased to 1.26 million tonnes, led by Ukraine, and soybean oil imports also decreased to 355.6 thousand tonnes, with Ukraine and Argentina as the main suppliers. Rapeseed oil imports were the weakest, with only 321.1 thousand tonnes purchased, mainly from Belarus and the UK.
