Europe presses the green pedal: Farmers become key player in COP30

The Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the European Parliament adopted its position ahead of the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference – COP30. With 57 votes in favor, 23 against, and 4 abstentions, MEPs emphasized that the European Union must maintain its leading role in global climate negotiations and call on all countries to take their fair share of climate efforts and financing.
