Export of Ukrainian sunflower meal to China sets records

In June, according to preliminary data, about 412,000 tons of sunflower meal were shipped from Ukraine to foreign markets, which is 7% less than the previous month, however, it was the highest volume for this month in history. APK-Inform writes about this. The decrease in exports was mainly due to a 40% decrease in shipments to the EU countries - to 105,000 tons. It should be noted that this is the lowest monthly export figure in this direction since May last year. At the same time, the export of sunflower meal to China in June increased for the third month in a row, reaching 214 thousand tons (+3% to May), which became the largest monthly export volume for this direction since January 2023.
