In the last six years, meat consumption in Mexico experienced growth of 18.9%, reaching 10.7 million tons in 2024; but, because national production has not kept pace, imports increased by 32.7%. During the Interactive Customs Seminar 2025, it was highlighted that the export of meat products to the Mexican market mainly comes from the United States, Brazil, and Canada.
