Exports of processed pollock products from Russia to China in 7 months exceeded supplies for the whole of 2023

INTERFAX.RU - In the first seven months of this year, the Russian Federation exported 32 thousand tons of processed pollock products (fillets, minced meat, surimi) to China, which is higher than the figure for the whole of 2023 - 26 thousand tons. This was announced by the President of the Pollock Catchers Association (ADM) Alexey Buglak at the international fishery forum in St. Petersburg. According to him, there has been an increase in the consumption of fillets and surimi on the Chinese market, which has led to a significant increase in supplies from the Russian Federation over the past two years. "At the same time, Russian products are displacing competitors' products. The increase in supplies is accompanied by a decrease in prices, including to gain a competitive advantage.
