Between January and October of this year, Peru experienced a significant increase in turkey exports to Colombia, with trade reaching US$ 3,488,000, a 415% increase compared to the same period in 2021. The exports were primarily focused on three types of turkey products, including the frozen breast fillet, which made up the majority of the exports. Despite the main consumption of turkey being during Christmas and New Year's, Peruvian companies are working to promote its consumption throughout the year for various celebrations. Turkey is known for its nutritional benefits, including its lean protein content and essential vitamins and minerals, making it a popular choice for those seeking to improve their health.
