According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (7) by the Rural Economy Department (Deral), from the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Supply (Seab), Brazilian exports of turkey meat declined in the first half of 2025.

Data from Agrostat Brasil indicate that the country shipped 24 thousand tons of the product, generating revenue of US$ 59.538 million. The result represents a contraction of 18.8% in volume and 20% in foreign exchange revenue compared to the same period in 2024, when 29,571 tons were exported, totaling US$ 74.377 million. The states in the Southern region remain the main producers and exporters. Santa Catarina led with US$ 22.628 million and 9,239 tons, followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with US$ 19.764 million and 8,296 tons, and Paraná, with US$ 16.603 million and 6,233 tons. In terms of volume exported, Paraná recorded a decrease of 0.6%, Rio Grande do Sul declined by 18%, and Santa Catarina showed the largest decrease, of 29.8%. In terms of foreign exchange revenue, Paraná had an increase of 4%, while Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina recorded reductions of 22.3% and 15.2%, respectively.
