The Agriculture and Livestock Federation of the State of Santa Catarina (FAESC) supports the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation's (CNA) request for an investigation into the dumping of powdered milk imports from Argentina. FAESC President José Zeferino Pedrozo emphasizes the detrimental effects of selling products below production costs on Brazil's dairy industry and the significance of this measure for the economy and rural producers. The CNA seeks to address trade distortions caused by Argentina's subsidies to its milk production, which have resulted in unfair competition and economic damage to Brazilian dairy farmers. The investigation is anticipated to commence within 90 days.
