The Ministry of Agrarian Policy, together with the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities, has gratuitously transferred corn seeds for the 2025 planting campaign to 663 agricultural producers from five front-line communities. This was reported in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Support was provided to small agricultural producers cultivating between 5 and 500 hectares. Within the framework of the "United Communities" project, implemented with the support of the American people, farmers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions (excluding temporarily occupied territories) were given 15,349 bags of seed material with a total weight of 364 tons free of charge. The All-Ukrainian Association of Communities ensured the delivery of seeds.
Thanks to the received seeds, farmers will be able to sow over 15.4 thousand hectares this season and harvest almost 190 thousand tons of corn. In total, since 2023, within the "United Communities" project, 1,194 tons of corn, sunflower, rapeseed, and vegetable seeds have been delivered, including from American donors.
