Farmers in Ukraine are provided with hemp seeds, but do not have enough equipment

Farmers in Ukraine have the opportunity to obtain hemp seeds for sowing in 2025, but they lack the equipment. This is reported by Delo.ua. According to experts, there are farms in Ukraine that sell the appropriate seeds. Hemp growers are working with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to invite specialists to research breeding stations, who will be supported by business. Business can order a variety with the necessary oil content and fiber content, but breeding work will have to be revived, because the need for seeds will increase in the future. Experts consider the main problem to be the shortage of equipment for growing and harvesting hemp, as well as equipment for its processing.
