Ukraine: Farmers of Lviv region increase the area of new gardens with grant support

The area of new plantings of fruit and berry crops in the Lviv region (Ukraine) increased by 2.2 hectares with the support of grants from the "Sviy Sad" program from "eRobot", EastFruit reports. The list of approved applications was supplemented by a grant in the amount of more than UAH 0.3 million for planting new currant plantings. The total amount of grant support for gardeners in the Lviv region since the program was launched is UAH 79.5 million, and the area of planting new intensive gardens and berry fields is 286.1 hectares. According to the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the share of the Lviv region in terms of the area of new plantings is 9% of the total area in Ukraine.
