The South Korean Feed Producers Association (KFA) has purchased around 65,000 tons of feed corn of U.S. origin at an international tender, reported the online publication APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. The winner of the tender is the company Pan Ocean, which will deliver the corn by February 10, 2026, at a price of $252.48 per ton C&F plus $1 per ton for unloading at a reserve port. For comparison – at the last tender for the import of feed corn into South Korea, held at the end of October, 204,000 tons of U.S., South African, or South American origin were purchased at prices between $243.98 and $245.16 per ton C&F plus $1.5 per ton for unloading at a reserve port, and at the tender in Taiwan last week, the delivery of 65,000 tons of U.S. origin was agreed at the price of the May futures on the Chicago exchange with a premium of 177.29 cents per bushel.
