The Samara Provincial Duma in Russia is planning to increase fines for fish and crayfish sellers who operate outside authorized areas due to an increased incidence of poaching. The fines for citizens will be increased from 3,000 to 4,500 rubles, for officials from 15,000 to 30,000 rubles, and for legal entities from 15,000 to 45,000 rubles. The fines for organizing fish and crayfish trade will also be increased, with repeat offenses incurring fines of 150,000 rubles for legal entities. Repeated offenses by citizens and officials will result in fines of 5,000 and 50,000 rubles, respectively.
