International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) is partnering with Unilever and Wageningen University & Research to enhance the taste of plant-based meat alternatives over a four-year project. Concurrently, Unilever and Nestlé are leveraging technology to create plant-based products that mimic the taste of animal meat but with a lower environmental impact, and exploring the next generation of plant-based ingredients to meet evolving consumer preferences.
