Fish meal exports from the Russian Federation increased by 22.6% in 2024

Russia exported 173,000 tonnes of fish meal in 2024, which is 22.6% more than the previous year. This was reported by the Association of Fishing Fleet Shipowners (ASRF), citing international customs statistics. The export value growth was 18.7%. According to the report, Russia ranks sixth among global exporters of this product. The leader is Peru (959,000 tonnes).
