Fish prices in Egypt have stabilized, with the country achieving 85% self-sufficiency in production. The prices for tilapia and other fish such as sea bass, mullet, and frozen fish are mentioned, with the majority of production coming from fish farms. Other sources of fish include lakes, shrimp production, marine and fresh water, and rice fields. The government is working to increase export rates as Egypt produces 2 million tons of fish annually, with 1.6 million tons from fish farming.
