The country is also looking to increase export rates and develop lakes for fish wealth. In the Obour market, wholesale fish prices ranged from 61 to 500 pounds per kilo, depending on the type. Egypt's production includes 400 thousand tons from capture fisheries and 2 million tons annually, with fish farming accounting for 79.7% of production.
