An unusually warm winter in Tajikistan has led to early blooming of plants such as snowdrops, roses, almonds, cherries, and apricots. However, this has also resulted in an increase in pests and diseases that typically perish in cold weather, posing a significant risk to crops. Farmers are being urged to safeguard their crops, but the high cost of protective equipment is a challenge. To address this, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences have dispatched experts to assess the situation and offer guidance to farmers.
