The National Food Safety Authority's report has shown a 30,000 ton increase in food consignments exported, totaling 250,000 tons across 5,100 consignments. The top exports included potatoes, onions, beans, and citrus fruits to the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Sudan via Damietta, Alexandria, and Safaga Ports. On the other hand, Egypt received 375,000 tons in 1,900 consignments from 715 companies, featuring wheat, soybeans, and oils from 89 countries. Russia, Brazil, America, Ukraine, and Malaysia were the main suppliers, with Alexandria Port being the main reception point.
