The Food Safety Authority's report reveals that Egypt exported 3,635 food shipments, amounting to approximately 140,000 tons, from 1,380 companies. These exports included 615 types of vegetables, fruits, and various food products. Sweet potatoes were the top vegetable export with 13,000 tons, while pomegranates led the fruit exports with 10,000 tons. The primary importing countries were Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya, and Russia, among a total of 165 countries. Safaga Port was the most significant export hub with 630 shipments, followed by Cairo Airport and Alexandria Port.
