From August 22 to 28, Wando County in Jeonnam Province held a seven-day event at the Lotte Department Store Gangnam branch to promote and sell Wando oysters. In Wando, high-quality oysters are exported from spring to summer, but consumption is low during holidays and special occasions, making it difficult for oyster producers to earn a living. To address this, Wando County has been working with fishery associations and related organizations to promote consumption.
