Lipetsk farmers use every fine day to harvest the best harvest this year, the regional Department of Agriculture reports and provides data for September 26. Soybeans are threshed in 13 districts. At the moment, 44.7 thousand tons have been received from 19.2 thousand hectares. The average yield in the region is 23.3 centners per hectare. This is 56 percent higher than a year earlier, when 14.9 centners were collected from one hectare. In total, more than 125 thousand hectares are allocated for soybeans in the region in 2022. Rapeseed harvesting is almost complete. 114 thousand tons were harvested from 58.5 thousand hectares. The yield of this oilseed crop exceeds last year by 17 percent and is 19.5 centners per hectare. Over 60,000 hectares were sown with rapeseed this year. Both soybeans and rapeseed are expected to have the best performance in the entire history of the Lipetsk region.
