For Uruguay, food safety is the cornerstone of all health policies and all export products

The Agricultural Engineer José Mantero, director of Laboratorios Pasteur and president of the Chamber of Veterinary Specialties (CEV) highlighted the importance of taking care of safety in all aspects and referred to some of the health challenges that Uruguay faces. Interviewed by La Mañana, he commented that for our country, safety is “a letter of introduction and the axis of all health policy and of all export products”, and mentioned some of the challenges that the country works on permanently in an effort by the State and the private sector.
