French feed mills processed 1.18 thousand tons of wheat, a 6.2% decrease from the previous year, due to low yields. Barley inclusion also decreased by 11.7% to 286 thousand tons. On the other hand, corn usage increased by 16.5% to 660 thousand tons, and soybean cake usage rose by 22.3% to 743,000 tons. Despite these changes, the total animal feed production in France remained stable, with a slight increase of 1% to 4.557 million tons. However, prices for compound feed, soybean cake, and barley have all decreased compared to the previous year, with compound feed prices being 7.5% lower.
