Turkey: Fresh fruit and vegetable export of 155.2 million dollars

Ferhat Gürüz, President of the Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association, pointed out that Turkey is among the important countries in the production of fresh fruits and vegetables in his written statement. Gürüz stated that they evaluated 179 thousand 398 tons of products in export markets in July. In this context, Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable exports in July reached 155.2 million dollars. Fresh fruit and vegetable sector achieved the strongest increases in export volume in July from sales of mushrooms, pears and apricots. In the 7th month of the year, the sector exported the most peach, cherry-cherry and apricot.
