From November 24, the Russian Federation will launch experiments on the labeling of sausages and semi-finished products.

Experimentally, meat products in general, as well as poultry carcasses in packaging, frozen fish, vegetables, and berries will be marked. The Government of the Russian Federation approved the conduct of experiments from November 24, 2025, on the marking of meat products, as well as semi-finished products and frozen food products in the "Honest Sign" system. According to the resolution approved by the cabinet, the experiment concerning meat products packaged in consumer packaging, including sausages made from livestock meat and poultry meat, will last until February 28, 2026. In another experiment, which will run until August 31, 2026, producers of semi-finished products and frozen food products will participate.
