Vietnam's fruit and vegetable export turnover in December 2023 reached over 379 million USD, up 1.8% from the previous month and 23.8% from the same period in 2022, bringing the total for the year to over 5.573 billion USD, an increase of 65.6% compared to the previous year. The top 10 export markets for Vietnamese fruits and vegetables are China, the United States, Korea, Japan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia. The increase in export turnover is attributed to the signing of export protocols, particularly with the Chinese market, and a significant growth in durian exports due to the fruit's popularity in China.
