According to an estimate by the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association (Vinafruit), the fruit and vegetable export turnover in December 2025 reached approximately 795 million USD. Thanks to this result, the total fruit and vegetable export value for the whole of 2025 exceeded the 8.5 billion USD mark, the highest ever for the industry. The growth momentum mainly comes from the six main fruit types, including durian, banana, mango, dragon fruit, coconut, and grapefruit. Among these, durian continues to play a key role, particularly in the Chinese market, where consumption demand is rising sharply and it accounts for a large proportion in Vietnam's fruit export structure. China remains Vietnam's largest fruit and vegetable market, accounting for about 64% of the total turnover.
