Fruit and vegetable price trends in Italy as of February 12th

The production of common Italian clementines has closed, the orange campaign marked by small sizes continues. Subdued or static demand for various horticultural products, such as artichoke, cauliflower, savoy cabbage, aubergines and fennel. Strong entry of courgettes into the markets which caused prices to collapse. Thanks to the agreement with the Borsa Merci Telematica Italiana (Bmti) and Italmercati we are publishing the survey of fruit and vegetable prices at the wholesale markets as of 12 February 2023. Below is a summary of the main types of fruit and vegetables on the market.
