Chile: Fruit growers now use Systems Approach for shipments of grapes and kiwis to Mexico

The Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) and Frutas de Chile highlighted the progress made after the meetings held in Mexico with the phytosanitary authorities of Senasica (National Agri-Food Health, Safety and Quality Service) in order to achieve approval of the Systems Approach for the shipments of fresh grapes and kiwis from Chile to Mexico, as well as analyzing other topics of interest for the national fruit sector. In this regard, Marco Muñoz, head of the Agricultural, Forestry and Seeds Division of the SAG, pointed out: “The bilateral meeting with Senasica of Mexico was very positive, since we were able to advance on issues that are of mutual interest.
