Global Dairy Trade price index decreased by 2.3%

The Global Dairy Trade (GDT) dairy price index continued to rise for six trading sessions in a row. But on March 5, this trend changed to a downward one: -2.3%. The price of the following stock exchange products decreased: – dry skimmed milk – by 5.2% – up to $2,640/ton; – dry whole milk – by 2.8% – up to $3,286/ton; – butter – by 1% – up to $6461/ton; ‒ mozzarella ‒ by 0.4% - up to $3945/ton. The remaining goods have increased in price: – lactose – by 4.8% – up to $818/ton; – cheddar – by 4% – up to $4,277/ton; ‒ dry buttermilk ‒ by 3.7% – up to $2,504/ton; - dehydrated milk fat - by 1.4% - up to $6637/ton.
