In 2024, China's imports of sunflower meal and pulp decreased by 14% compared to 2023, totaling 2.528 million tons. The majority of these imports, approximately 72.4%, were sourced from Ukraine, with Russia and Bulgaria being the next largest suppliers. The average price of sunflower meal and pulp imported to China also decreased by 17.2% compared to the previous year, with Kazakhstan offering the lowest prices and Bulgaria the highest.
