Georgian imports of Belarusian potatoes in the first quarter decreased by 12 times

In the first quarter of 2024, compared to the same period last year, Georgia significantly reduced imports of potatoes from Belarus. According to Business Georgia, procurement volumes have decreased both in kind and in value terms. If in January–March 2023 Georgia imported 6371.3 tons of Belarusian potatoes, then for the same period in 2024 – 518.4 tons.
