Gherkin cucumber harvest has started in Selendi, Turkey

The harvest of gherkin cucumbers produced in Tavak Neighborhood, one of the rural neighborhoods of the Selendi district of Manisa, has begun. Cucumber for pickled gherkins, which started with the production of one person in 2011 in Tavak District of Selendi with a population of 600, became the source of income of the region. Gherkin cucumber, which is produced by a large part of the neighborhood, made a great contribution to the economy of the citizens. The harvested cucumbers are transported to the pickle factories by trucks that come to the neighborhood.
