DÜZCE(İHA) – In January, 811.7 tons of domestic hazelnuts were exported from Düzce to European Union countries. Holding 70 percent of the world market in hazelnuts, Turkey continues to export hazelnuts to many countries around the world, primarily European countries. Hazelnuts, which we rank 1st in the world in production and export, are produced by thousands of families in Turkey. According to the Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry export data, 811.7 tons of hazelnuts were exported in January this year. In 2025, 16,455 tons of hazelnuts were sent from Düzce to EU countries.
