Global agricultural exports are projected to increase by 2% in 2024, with China's imports expected to decrease by 4% due to stable domestic consumption and a rise in domestic production. However, Australia's exports are anticipated to grow by 9% due to ample supply and competitive pricing, finding alternative markets as US exports to East Asian markets are expected to decline. Brazil is predicted to remain the largest exporter, with a slight increase of 1% to 2.9 million tonnes, driven by demand from the US, UAE, and the Philippines. India's exports are also expected to rise by 3% due to strong demand in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
