Global pork production for 2026 is expected to reach 117.2 million tons (Mt), representing a slight increase of 0.1% compared to 2025 (117.0 Mt). Global exports are expected to decrease by 0.8% compared to 2025, falling from 10.4 to 10.3 Mt. Imports are expected to reach 9.4 Mt in 2026, representing an increase of 1.8% compared to 2025 (9.3 Mt). Apparent consumption is expected to increase by 0.3% in 2026, rising from 115.9 to 116.3 million tons (Mt). China is expected to produce 57.2 million tons in 2026, maintaining the same consolidated volume as 2025. However, its import volume is estimated to increase by 1.4%, reaching 1.5 million tons. European Union production is expected to decrease by 1.2% in 2026, reaching 21.5 million tons. Similarly, with an estimated total of 2.8 million tons, its exports are expected to fall by 7.4%.
