In its September report, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has revised upwards by 1.3 million tons its estimate of global rapeseed production in 2025/26, placing it at 90.9 million tons.
This increase is mainly due to the rise recorded in Canada, with 20 million tons, 750,000 tons more than in the August report. However, rapeseed production in Ukraine experienced a slight decrease of 200,000 tons (3.3 million tons).
As for sunflower, the USDA has slightly revised upwards by 170,000 tons its production estimate, placing it at 55.2 million tons.
Conversely, in soybeans, the Department of Agriculture estimates a production of 425.8 million tons, which is 520,000 tons less than in the August report.
