Global sugar production is estimated up 8 million tonnes

Global production is estimated up 8.2 million tonnes year-over-year to 183.5 million with higher production for Brazil and India expected to more than offset a decline for Thailand and Pakistan. Exports are estimated higher as Brazil and Thailand are expected to more than offset lower shipments from India and Pakistan.
