Russia: Grain exports from the Irkutsk region to China have quadrupled

Kutui farmers are waiting for the opening of a new linear elevator to further increase supplies to China. This was stated by the head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Irkutsk region, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Anatoly Viktorovich Plenomochnov, speaking at a meeting of the Angara Exporters Club under the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Eastern Siberia. Anatoly Polnomochnov noted that the forecasts made a year and a half ago regarding the export of agricultural products in the Irkutsk region not only justified themselves, but also exceeded expectations. For example, supplies to Mongolia have doubled. Along with grain, its derivatives are also exported - pasta, vermicelli, horns, shells, spaghetti.
