On 26.08–1.09.2024, according to data from the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, consumption wheat cost PLN 871/t, which is 1% less than in the previous week. At the same time, the price of this grain was 2.5% higher than the one recorded a month earlier, but 8% lower than a year ago. In the analyzed week, the price of consumption wheat on the EU market was EUR 207/t, which is 2.5% more than a week and 3% more than a month earlier. At the same time, the price of this grain was 7% lower than a year ago. In Poland, the price of consumption wheat expressed in EU currency was 2% lower than the average in the European Union and was EUR 203/t. It was, among other things, 6% lower than in France and 11% lower than in Germany, but 1% higher than in Lithuania and 4% higher than in Romania.
