Grain reserves in Kazakhstan fell to 8.6 mln tons

As of June 1, grain and pulse reserves in Kazakhstan totaled more than 8.6 million tons, including wheat – more than 7 million 372 thousand tons. This was reported by the Bureau of National Statistics. Of the total grain volume, food reserves amounted to more than 7 million 267 thousand tons, seeds – more than 541 thousand tons and fodder – more than 837 thousand tons. There were more than 6.5 million tons of food wheat in storage, more than 436 thousand tons in the seed fund, and more than 408 thousand tons were fodder. According to the statistics agency, there were more than 3 million 358 thousand tons of grain in the storage facilities of agricultural producers, more than 2 million 671 thousand tons in elevators, more than 1 million 259 thousand tons in farms, more than 195.8 thousand tons in wholesale traders, more than 8.9 thousand tons in producers of organic chemicals, and more than 14 thousand tons in feed producers.
