Farmers across the country are entering their third week of protests, strengthening their position and announcing further escalation if the government does not respond immediately to their demands. Having already sent a list of their demands to the prime minister, the farmers are determined to stay at the blockades and clearly state that they are ready to celebrate Christmas in the streets. In the context of the decisions made on Saturday by the Panhellenic Coordination Committee of the blockades, the agricultural blockades remain in full coordination, and the next phase of the mobilizations foresees an intensification of the blockades, with the closure not only of the National Road but also of side roads, at key points in the country.
