USA Rice is partnering with the USDA to host a trade mission to Guatemala City, Guatemala, from March 2-7, 2025. The mission aims to strengthen ties between U.S. agribusinesses and key Guatemalan stakeholders. The deadline to apply is December 3. The mission will include market briefings, networking events, and rice-specific business-to-business meetings. Guatemala, the largest economy in Central America, was the top market for U.S. agricultural products in 2023, importing $1.7 billion in goods. This will be the second of six USDA Agribusiness Trade Missions in 2025, with the others scheduled for Côte d'Ivoire, the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, Mexico, Peru, and Taiwan.
