[Korea Farmers' News Agency, Reporter Park Du-gyeong] The Gyeongbuk Agricultural Technology Institute held the '27th Peach Research Seminar' last month on the 29th at the Cheongdo National Sports Center. Jointly hosted by the Cheongdo Peach Research Institute and the Peach Research Association, the seminar brought together around 600 peach growers, agricultural officials, and other stakeholders to share technology and information aimed at advancing the peach industry. In recent years, diseases such as anthrax have become serious problems in peach farming, leading to significant economic difficulties as many farms are forced to discard a large portion of their harvested fruit. This year's seminar focused on 'Disease and Pest Management for High-Quality Peach Production.'
