Gyeongnam Province announced that it held the "2025 Gyeongnam Seafood Food Show in Paris" on November 25 in Paris, France, using Gyeongnam's representative seafood products, oysters and conger eel, to expand the overseas market for Gyeongnam seafood and enhance its recognition within Europe. This event was planned to diversify the seafood food export market by targeting the French export market, which is the largest seafood consumer and a major distribution hub in Europe. Held at the Ecole Ducasse Paris Studio, a leading French culinary school, the event invited over 50 local European buyers, distributors, and representatives from hotels, restaurants, and catering services. Attendees were able to directly taste dishes made from Gyeongnam oysters and conger eel.
