Between September 1 and the end of the first half of the current agricultural season, Turkey experienced a notable increase in hazelnut exports. The country shipped out over 160,412 tons of hazelnuts, marking a 13% rise in quantity compared to the previous season. Furthermore, the value of these exports surged by 29% to reach $1.304 billion, underscoring Turkey's position as the world's leading hazelnut exporter, contributing over 70% of the global share in volume. This growth highlights a strong demand for Turkish hazelnuts on the international market.
