Hemp areas in Ukraine will increase to 10 thousand hectares

The Association for the Development of Flax and Hemp Growing in Ukraine expects that this year the area under hemp in Ukraine will increase to at least 10 thousand hectares. This was stated by Vera Ulyanchenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association. According to her, this will be facilitated by the fact that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy managed to launch the e-Hemp system before the start of sowing the crop in the 2025 season. As noted, the system will accumulate data on legal entities-hemp growers from state registers, and farmers will submit data on the areas they plan to sow with this crop.
