[Livestock and Fisheries News=Reporter Eum Ik-bok] The Korea Bee Farmers' Association (President Kim Yong-rae) held a field tour last month on the 29th in collaboration with the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Agency and in the Pyeongtaek and Anseong areas of Gyeonggi Province, inviting consumers and distribution industry representatives for a honey grading system field experience and education. This tour aimed to effectively inform about the honey grading system and enhance consumer awareness by directly experiencing the process from honey production to the shipment of graded honey products. The tour was attended by 25 people, including officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Agency, consumer groups, and content creators. Participants experienced the honey collection process and bee ecology at beekeeping farms, and at the Korea Bee Farmers' Association's Economic Affairs Division, they applied for honey grading certification.
